Prevention program against substance abuse

New Beginnings Community Outreach Community Center spearheads counseling sessions for at-risk youth who are under heavy influence of alcohol and other illegal substances that could cause major abnormalities in the body if consumed daily.



Adopt A School

The organization would empower and motivate teachers to inspire youth, educating them of the consequences behind juvenile delinquency. Workshops would train teachers to become more competitive allies of learning that would help at-risk youth become academically fit. 

Anti-bullying campaigns

The Office of Juvenile and Delinquency Prevention defines bullying as a real or perceived imbalance of power, with the more powerful child or group attacking those who are less powerful. The organization's anti-bullying program envisions a safe environment  for bullied youth with programs fashioned to restore character, confidence, and self-esteem.

Human rights and education

The organization provide informational displays with issues of health, abuse, employment, education, peer pressure, conducting youth sexuality programs to promote health and awareness.

This is our story

 Established in 2008, New Beginnings Community Outreach Center is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that aims to help at-risk youth and families in Southwest, Louisiana through offering counseling and educational programs that have a personal touch. The organization was incorporated to address the growing issues of suicide, alcohol and substance abuse, violence, and delinquency among youth in the community of Lake Charles, Louisiana. 

Everyone is Welcomed. Our Motto Scripture is: When you do it unto the least, you do it unto me.
